Who Are We?

FILMMAKERS FOR FILMMAKERS

Being filmmakers, editors and scriptwriters ourselves we know how difficult it is to find the so needed clarity in designing an honest and profound story.

Having struggled ourselves and having helped others, in the past two decades, to fulfill their cinematic visions, we have developed a method that helps storytellers find what they have to do in order to get to the next level,  set a clear path, and go on their journey.

In 2019 Mrs. Wulf  Story Consulting service was formed with the intent of assisting storytellers around the world, particularly filmmakers, to navigate the complex waters of their stories.

Mrs. Wulf  is a web based story development, script and editing consultancy service for storytellers, specifically documentary and fiction filmmakers, offered by a team of award winning consultants; filmmakers for filmmakers.

Following years of experience, working with film directors, editors, producers and screenwriters, we at Mrs. Wulf Story Consulting have developed a unique method of story analysis and guidance, what we refer to as “Transformational Storytelling”.

What is Transformational Storytelling?

We at Mrs. Wulf believe that great stories are not only about transformation. They are the outcome of a profound and honest process of transformation. Yet, most of us, being absorbed in story creation, tend to neglect our own transformation. That is the core of what we do at Mrs. Wulf :  understanding the transformation and the transformational process, understanding the correlation between the journey of our protagonists and our own journey. That is why we put the storyteller at the centre of our attention, and that is why we offer guidance throughout all stages of development, production and post-production.

Transformational Storytelling is not only a technique with which one is able to understand crucial questions such as: “What is my film about?” or “What does my character want?” it not only provides a hands on approach to understanding crucial issues like “turning points” and “character arcs”, but it uniquely provides an in depth look into one’s own personal journey to development and growth, its relationship to the story and the way in which we as artists can all grow and change through this rare opportunity of storytelling.
